Windy City, Casinos, sandwiches and phones

Lots of people eating bad food while they travel....that's why they call it windy city (ok....just an attempt at humor not my regular sense though I am tired)

I actually got a great sandwich. Having travelled all day, I did not really get a chance to eat much, so I got a delicious ruben sandwich at the Chicago airport deli called Berghoff Cafe outside gate C26. The meat was cooked just right with the juices flowing into the bread that hit just the right spot.

Across the way a crowd just cheered as if their favorite player scored a goal. But it was a gate agent announcing a flight that was getting ready to board.

Just making an observation - cell phone companies must love bad weather, judging by the multitudes of people talking to their loved ones and making sure their hotel reservations are being kept.

My flight is waiting for pilots and flight attendants. Once they get here we should be on our way. Looks like I may still get to my destination (next direct flight to Spokane, WA is at 5 PM tomorrow).

My attitude is always never to dispair and keep a positive attitude. I live what I believe. It keeps me sane and ready for any other challenge that presents itself.

Gotta run.....my flight is boarding. It may have been a long day, but I will forget all about it when I step on stage at Northern Quest Casino. And not one person that night will know what it takes to be a traveller.

.......Talking about casino shows. Last week I performed at the Treasure Island Casino in MN. The show was SOLD OUT (1000 seats). I loved every second and look forward to a return date at the Indigo Bay showroom, a top knotch facility with great audiences and run by the nicest people.
